Overview
The African and African Diaspora Studies program from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee is a two-year interdisciplinary graduate degree that offers students the opportunity to develop strong theoretical knowledge, receive adequate training in research methods, become familiar with multidisciplinary analytical frameworks, while being exposed to the broad fundamental principles that guide the field of AADS.

Thus, students can specialize in various fields, involving a wide array of subjects relating to African development/underdevelopment, public policy, race/ethnicity, history, culture, and society.
