So, if you’re looking for a way to accelerate your career, increase your business knowledge and leadership skills and maximise your board level awareness without stepping out of work, our flexible part-time programme could be just what you are looking for.

Flexible 24/7 learning We’ve built the Distance Learning MBA with flexibility in mind. This means that when your job needs to take precedence for a while you can choose to slow down or take a break of up to two years before continuing your studies. You may complete your Distance Learning MBA in two to four years depending on your personal circumstances. You will also have access to the University of Warwick library catalogue, including online journals, ebooks and industry databases including Mintel, Amadeus and Statista.

An innovator and digital leader Our online platform my.wbs removes geographical barriers, by enabling you to discuss issues in real time with your peers and academics. You can engage in lectures in real time, test your knowledge, watch archived sessions, access teaching materials, connect with other students, participate in global syndicate groups and speak directly to your lecturers, peers and the Programme team through the platform.

World-leading, practical teaching Our Distance Learning MBA has been running for over 30 years, allowing you to benefit from our extensive experience. Modules are designed and led by Warwick faculty, supported by a substantial team who produce and support the interactive materials. You will develop an inquisitive and entrepreneurial mind that will enable you to make a positive contribution to your organisation, thanks to the transformative research of our faculty which underpins our teaching.

Face-to-face learning included While the Distance Learning MBA is studied primarily online, the course is distinguished by including two residential weeks at the Warwick campus. You will meet your fellow students, discuss case studies, listen to guest speakers, and enjoy lectures and thought-provoking discussions with faculty and your cohort. You can also study up to two of your elective modules face-to-face (one face-to-face module is included in your tuition fee) either on campus at Warwick Business School, at WBS London, or you can choose to study in cities such as Prague, Singapore and Dubai (subject to availability).

International perspectivesAs part of the Warwick Business School (WBS) community, you will be joining a diverse network of Change Makers, made up of 46,000 individuals from 140 countries. You will have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with fellow graduates online, and in person at networking events held around the world.

GPA admission requirements GPA Your GPA, or Grade Point Average, is a number that indicates how well or how high you scored in your courses on average. Usually a GPA scales between 1.0 and 4.0, however different countries and universities can have different grading systems.
GRE admission requirements GRE® The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. It contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.
GMAT admission requirements GMAT The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.

IELTS admission requirements IELTS The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).

General requirements

  • Transcripts: You will need to provide transcripts of your degree. These should be translated into English and we need to see the original or a certified/attested hard copy. If you are unable to send the original/certified copies at the same time of submitting your application then scanned and emailed copies can be accepted temporarily. 
  • References: We require two professional references including one from your line manager but if you have left education within the last five years, you can provide one academic and one professional reference. Referees should be able to comment on your academic or business acumen and one reference should ideally be from a current line manager.
