Forensic Science (Mixed) from University Sains Malaysia is based on the inputs from key stakeholders, forensic practitioners, academics and stringent benchmarking against renowned forensic science institutions both locally and internationally, this Master of Science in Forensic Science (Mixed) programme from University Sains Malaysia has been designed to allow prospective candidates to specialise in various fields of forensic science.
Learning outcomes
This programme will equip prospective candidates with current knowledge, techniques and essential skills in forensic science which will be assimilated through well-designed theoretical and practical sessions. It also serves as a platform for prospective candidates to pursue PhD in forensic science.Programme Structure

- Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science, Biology, Chemistry, Health Science or other related and recognised degree
- CGPA of at least 2.75 / 4.00; or
- CGPA between 2.50 - 2.74 with the following additional conditions: or
- Research experience for at least one year; or
- Work experience in related field for at least one year; or
- At least one (1) academic publication in the relevant field; or
- Grade B for major / elective courses; or
- Grade B+ for final year project
- CGPA between 2.00 - 2.49 (Bachelor's Degree with Honours) with the following additional conditions: or
- Research experience for at least five (5) years; or
- Work experience in related field for at least five (5) years; AND
- At least one (1) academic publication in the relevant field; or
- Grade B for major / elective courses; or
- Grade B+ for final year project
