Hofstra University's Health Professions Education curriculum will prepare students to manage change within their healthcare institutions, overcome organizational barriers, and effectively lead in line with futuristic trends in health professions education and practice. The program is designed to assure that those who lead and train healthcare professionals have the vision, knowledge, and skills to plan, deliver and improve effective educational programs. 

This MSEd program will prepare students to develop and apply skills that will support effective teaching and leading in a multitude of settings where clinical practice occurs. The curriculum includes advanced education in the areas of teaching and learning, assessment and program evaluation, leadership and administration, and educational research and scholarship. This program goes beyond the depth and breadth of traditional professional development efforts offered in a work environment.
