Programme Structure
Thesis Option:
- At least 18 hours credit from 6000-level and above courses.
- At least 18 hours credit in courses offered in the Department of Agricultural Sciences.
- At least one hour credit in graduate seminar (up to three hours credit can be used toward degree requirements).
- AGRI 6316, and 7318 or other courses with approval.
- Six hours credit of thesis (AGRI 6301 and 6302).
- No more than four hours credit from individual study courses.
- Successful completion of thesis and comprehensive exam.

- Completion of the Departmental Application
- Bachelor's degree in an agricultural or closely related discipline from an accredited institution
- Master’s committee chair willing to supervise coursework and/or thesis research project(s)
- Overall undergraduate GPA ≥ 3.0 or ≥ 3.0 GPA on last 60 hours
- Official GRE Scores (will be required starting Fall 2021)
- Departmental “Application for Graduate Studies”
- Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission into the M.S. degree program or a graduate research assistantship
