Overview
Students should first apply for the MACS program at Saint Xavier University. One year into the MACS coursework, students should then apply to the MBA program.
To apply for the Applied Computer Science and Business Administration Dual Degree Program, students must complete the Dual Degree Checklist and receive written approval from an academic advisor.
Features
After completing the MACS program first, students are allowed to enroll in an accelerated MBA program eliminating an MBA concentration and eliminating one core course. Students must complete the remaining 24 credit hours of common core graduate course work.
Programme Structure
Courses included:
- The required MBA common core represents an integrated curriculum providing both practical applications and a strong foundation in management theory.
- Those students who do not have an undergraduate degree in business administration must complete six foundation modules each worth one credit hour. Foundation modules may be waived based on prior coursework.

- A completed online application.
- Completed recommendation forms.
- Official results of the appropriate graduate admission test.
- A completed and notarized SXU Affidavit of Support (PDF).
- An official scholarship letter or a notarized bank statement or bank letter demonstrating capacity to provide financial support for at least one year of attendance at SXU.
- Non-native English speaking applicants must submit official test scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or official results from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or proof of completion of ELS course level 112.
- A "course-by-course" transcript evaluation report by an approved educational credential evaluator, for all colleges or universities attended abroad to determine U.S. equivalency.
- Photocopies or facsimiles of identification and expiration pages of the student's passport.
