Overview
The primary mission of the Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Medicine from Michigan State University is the education of physicians who will bring the most sophisticated scientific knowledge to bear on medical problems and health status in a humane and compassionate way, and who will take leadership roles in bringing about changes directed toward achieving equal opportunities for health care for all.

- Students with critical deficiencies for the SCRIPT competency of professionalism as defined in the Student Manual for Assessment and Promotion are not eligible.
- Be a currently enrolled College of Human Medicine medical student;
- Have successfully completed the first two years of medical school including HM 552, HM 553, and HM 554,
- Elect not to continue to completion of the M.D. degree.
