Overview
Degree Program
Students will study the various subjects of the Sustainable Transportation and Electrical Power Systems program of the Sapienza University of Rome in at least 4 different countries, and they will be able to choose between 2 different mobility programmes: Rome-Nottingham-Oviedo or Coimbra-Nottingham-Oviedo. Students will also have an internship opportunity which will be held at a partner university or at a company in Europe, America or Asia. The subjects will be taught in English, but students will have the opportunity of working through at least 3 other official EU languages. Students will attend a 2-week Summer school at the University of Oviedo to meet other colleagues, University coordinators, etc.
Students wishing to focus on the Sustainable Transportation and Electrical Power Systems (Design, Analysis And Operation for the More Efficient and Resilient Grid) curriculum will spend the first period of their studies in Rome, while those focusing on Electrical Power Systems (Technologies for the More Electronic Grid) curriculum will attend classes in Coimbra. Semester 2 will be devoted to the study of the advanced subjects of the ST and EPS curricula in Nottingham. During Semester 3 students from any of the proposed curricula will complete their specialization studies in Oviedo. Finally, during semester 4 students will carry out an internship in one of the partner Universities or at world leading companies. They will also undertake a guided research to draft their Masters Degree graduation thesis.

- Valid identity card or passport;
- Study Visa for “University enrolment” (only for non-EU citizens residing abroad);
- Receipt of your residence permit request (only for non-Eu citizens residing abroad who require a study visa);
- Residence permit card (only for Non-EU citizens regularly living in Italy). If you are renewing your residence permit card, you will need a copy of your expired permit together with the post office receipt of your renewal application;
- University-level qualification (achieved after no fewer than 15 years of studies of which at least 3 at University level), together with copy of the academic Transcript of records, officially translated into Italian (or in English) and accompanied by the Statement of Verification and the Statement of Comparability issued by CIMEA.
