The course meets the requirements of the Level 7 Sustainability Business Specialist Apprenticeship Standard, enabling graduates to perform effectively as sustainability professionals in a competitive and fast changing environment.On completion of the programme you will acquire a Sustainability Business Specialist Apprenticeship, a master’s degree and professional recognition as a Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) and Practitioner Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) or Chartered Environmentalist (Full Member of the IEMA) depending on your level of experience prior to the course.
Accredited by IEMA, successful completion of this MSc leads to the additional award of Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) status (Practitioner Member of IEMA) or Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) status (Full Member of IEMA) depending on your level of experience prior to the course.

Alternatively we will consider a professional qualification (such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA) together with a minimum of five years’ post-qualification work experience.Other relevant qualifications, together with significant experience, may also be considered.Professional experience and personal qualities are equally important to us and each application is considered on its individual merit.Before an application is submitted for our Sustainability Business Specialist Apprenticeship programme, prospective students need to have approval from the employer. Students have to be employed and your employer has to agree to provide you with the support and supervision to carry out your job role and your apprenticeship. It is a requirement of the Apprenticeship Funding Rules that you are working at least 50% of your contracted hours in England.A three-way agreement needs to be put in place between Cranfield University, the employer and the student.
