About the English Education Studies program
The English Education Studies program of the University at Buffalo is a part-time program, comprised of 33 credit hours, that can be completed in two years on campus, online or via hybrid course delivery (online/on campus combination). Our program focuses on teaching, research and learning. It integrates literature, composition, media and digital literacies in secondary schools and higher education. Classes are small and students get individualized attention.
As a student in this program you will:- read, analyze, and discuss current theory and practice
- explore approaches to literature, composition, media, and technology
- engage in numerous multimodal and technological projects
- create unit plans in the context of current standards and assessment movements
- participate in individualized capstone projects

- Application fee: A $50 non-refundable application fee, submitted electronically through UB's ePayment system.
