The The three-year, 66-credit concentration in Cinema Arts - Post-Production from The City University of New York prepares students for professional careers in their area of specialization through a combination of practical and theoretical courses.

When students complete their respective courses of study, they will have the skills and the experience to succeed in the full range of career opportunities within their discipline.
The curriculum is built on the use of the latest digital equipment and will stay current as innovative technology emerges. The various courses of study will reflect the reality that the very idea that filmmaking is in flux; no longer does it exclusively involve projected images in a darkened auditorium. The intent is to enable students to handle all aspects of commercial work whatever form it may take, from iPhones to IMAX.
