Overview

During the first semester of the Electrical and Computer Engineering program from Kansas State University, the student will choose a major adviser, select a graduate committee and develop a tentative plan of study for a graduate program in the Mike Wiegers Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. 

The program of study must be completed and forwarded to the Graduate School by the end of the second semester of enrollment.

Choice of Option

All options require at least 18 credit hours of the program of study to be at the 700 level or above. The student, with the concurrence of the major adviser and/or the department head, may select one of the options below leading to the master's degree. At the option of the major adviser, graduate research assistants may be required to select option one. For the course work option, identified programs of study for the major areas of specialization should be followed when available.
