The Research Master in International Studies at Autonomous University of Barcelona is an interdisciplinary 120-ECTS credit programme that combines the study of complex problems in international politics and related areas, with a strong focus on research methods in Social Sciences. 


Learning outcomes

This two-year Master’s programme Research Master in International Studies at Autonomous University of Barcelona intends to prepare policy analysts and researchers in different areas of international studies, providing them with advanced methods training and research skills that would enable them to develop or consolidate their professional and academic careers.

  • Applicants are required to have a good undergraduate degree or its international equivalent, of at least six semesters, in the field of social sciences (political sciences, international relations, economics or equivalent) from an accredited institution of higher education either in Spain or abroad. If you are applying with a degree from the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), a minimum of 180 ECTS is required.
