This Health Psychology (part-time) programme at Ulster University is open to anyone with a undergraduate psychology degree (with GBC eligibility), master's level psychology conversion course, or equivalent. English language requirements also apply.

There are intakes throughout the academic year, in January, March, May, September, and November. Our carousel-style programme design means you start whenever is convenient. You can even pay per module and take a break if you need to. Complete the course part-time in two years, or take up four years - it's your choice.
At the end of Ulster's Health Psychology MSc programme you'll have a critical understanding of the contexts and theories behind health-related behaviours, as well as advanced practical research skills in the application of Health Psychology techniques. Other vocationally relevant outcomes include statistical analysis, communication skills, evaluation and analytics and independent study at a postgraduate level.
Programme Structure
The programme comprises six core modules and a dissertation. The scope of the modules follows a BPS framework to ensure its relevance and qualification as Stage 1 training.

- At least a 2:1 honours degree in psychology conferring eligibility for GBC membership of the British Psychological Society (or National/international Equivalent e.g. PSI)OR
- An accredited MSc Psychology conversion programme with a merit grade or above
- Provide evidence of competence in written and spoken English (GCSE grades A-C or equivalent)
