Chicago-Kent College of Law offers Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree programs at the Illinois Institute of Technology in financial services law; international intellectual property law; taxation; trial advocacy for international students; and U.S., international, and transnational law. 

Overview

Chicago-Kent at the Illinois Institute of Technology also offers combined J.D./LL.M. degree programs in taxation and financial services law, which enable students to earn both degrees after seven semesters of full-time residence, instead of eight.Students may pursue these programs on a full- or part-time basis.

  • Illinois Tech requires a four-year bachelor’s degree conferred with a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or its equivalent) from an accredited institution for regular admission.

  • Academic requirements: GPA of at least 3.0.
  • GMAT or GRE is required: GRE/GMAT is required, apart from Master of Public Administration. 
  • Personal Statement required
  • Letter of Recommendation is suggested, but not required
  • ACT Composite: 27+ (Must have 27+ in Math)
  • SAT Composite: 1240+ (Must have 630+ in Math)
