Overview
Course topics include hybrid vehicle drives, power market operations, and power system transaction management. Electives are available in power market economics security, deregulated power systems, and microgrid design and operation.Two additional specialty tracks—energy conservation and buildings, and energy generation and sustainability—are also taught by faculty who have set the bar in energy systems and will empower students to become the next energy pioneers.

Illinois Tech requires a four-year bachelor’s degree conferred with a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0/4.0 (or its equivalent) from an accredited institution for regular admission.
- Academic requirements: GPA of at least 3.0.
- GMAT or GRE is required: GRE/GMAT is required, apart from Master of Public Administration.
