General requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is required, although not necessarily in computer science or a related field. Applicants whose degree is not in computer science may have to take prerequisite undergraduate coursework, the credit hours of which will not apply toward the master's degree.
  • Minimum GRE scores of 295 quantitative + verbal, and 2.5 analytic
  • writing, although GRE scores may be waived for applicants with a
  • bachelor's degree from an accredited United States institution with an
  • overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
  • Applicants who received a bachelor's degree at an institution in which English is not the primary instructional language must submit TOEFL/PTE/IELTS scores
