The Medical Parasitology and Entomology program of the University of Malaya is offered by the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, which is one of the oldest and possibly the largest Parasitology Departments in the world. Bachelor’s Degree in fields related to Health, Science or Biology

  • Bachelor’s degree with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.00 or equivalent; or
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery or Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent medical qualification; or
  • Bachelor’s degree with CGPA of 2.70 up to 2.99 can be considered if one (1) and CGPA of 2.50 up to 2.69 can be considered if two (2) of the following criteria is fulfilled;
  • Bachelor’s degree with CGPA of 2.00 up to 2.49 can be considered if passed the interview
Bachelor’s Degree in fields non-related to Health, Science or Biology
  • Bachelor’s degree with CGPA of at least 2.70 and at least one (1) year of working experience in related field; or
  • Bachelor’s degree with CGPA of 2.50 up to 2.69 and at least one (1) year of working experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with CGPA of 2.00 up to 2.49 and at least five (5) years of working experience
