Overview
The Erasmus Mundus Master in Quality in Analytical Laboratories at University of Barcelona is developed by a consortium of European universities (University of Barcelona, University of Cádiz, University of the Algarve, University of Bergen and University of Technology Gdansk) and 25 associated institutions, including private companies, official laboratories, research institutes, national entities (ENAC, NIST-USA and INTMRO-Brazil) and outstanding foreign universities (from China, Russia and Latin America).
This prestigious Masters has been recognised by the Erasmus Mundus Programme in the 2007 and 2012 calls.The training program includes 120 ECTS that need to be done in two courses. The first year (60 CETS) is carried out in an entire way in one of the participating universities and consists of theoretical and practical classes. The second year is eminently practical and consists of a research work and a three-month stay in an official company or institution implementing a quality management system. All academic activity is taught in English. The most notable features of the Master are its international character, the mobility of students and teachers, and the prestige of the participating institutions.
