TU Berlin's Energy Engineering and Process Engineering program equips students to take up these complex challenges by offering a curriculum that combines current scientific findings, developments, and methods while also being highly applied in nature with a focus on practical relevance. Students learn about modern energy technologies, focusing on methods used to assess and improve the energy efficiency of different energy conversion technologies, the inclusion of renewable energies and innovative energy storage concepts, and economic and environmental aspects.

Interdisciplinary tutorials, experiments, and excursions offer practical training and provide you with a thorough and professional understanding of the challenges in energy and process engineering. Due to the relatively new city infrastructure of El Gouna which includes modern supply systems, the students are able to access the facilities such as water desalination, power generation and transformer stations for their project work.

The Energy Engineering master’s program is held in two locations: the TU Berlin campus in EL Gouna, Egypt and TU Berlin’s main location in Berlin.

The master's program is a continuing education master's program and thus is fee-based.
