Overview
The Advanced Chemical Engineering programme from Loughborough University is designed to advance your knowledge in chemical and process engineering by focusing on an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of key chemical and industrial processes and applying them to practice. You will encounter the latest technologies available to the process industries and will be exposed to a broad range of crucial operations and optimisation methods.
You will explore processes that are applicable to a number of sectors, including food, fuel, energy, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and chemical industries. You'll also gain a greater insight into aspects of advanced chemical engineering and up-to-date process technologies which will enable you to plan, operate and manage processes and manufacturing plants. Our graduates are therefore prepared for a career in a variety of industries and can capitalise on the growing demand for chemical engineers.
