Academic Advising and Academic Support
All Minerva students have access to multiple sources of academic support. Before courses start, you will be referred to resources to prepare yourself for the classes. Once classes begin, through Minerva’s ForumTM, faculty will provide rapid, specific feedback to ensure your progress. Centralized resources available to students, who may be anywhere in the world, will include virtual office hours with professors and study groups.
Small Seminars
All classes utilize Minerva’s fully active learning methodology, which compels you to be prepared to contribute in every class session, helping you hone your critical thinking, debate, and presentation skills. Classes are all conducted in small seminar style and hosted on Forum™, enabling flexibility for working professionals from around the world.
Coaching and Talent Development
Minerva’s Coaching and Talent Development team will help you explore, identify, and develop the skills and characteristics necessary to create and pursue meaningful lives and careers. Far beyond one-time resume reviews and mock interviews, Minerva will support you in thriving personally and professionally.

Advanced Empirical Analysis: Understand how to use the scientific method to analyze situations and make decisions by framing problems, formulating and testing creative hypotheses.
Advanced Formal Analyses: Learn how to represent situations mathematically and logically, using concepts in mathematics, probability and statistics.
Advanced Complex Systems: Learn how to analyze complex systems, such as economic and social systems. This course dives into why human social systems are so complex, and covers how analysis is vital to effective leadership, debate, and negotiation.
Knowledge: Information-based Decisions (replace Information-based Decisions): Learn how to extract meaning from data using modern approaches. Discover how to make big strategic decisions with mathematics, statistics, and computer simulation.
Research Methods: Practice how to design new research studies to collect the qualitative and quantitative data needed to support your decisions.

General requirements
- Complete a short online form with basic information including your academic history and employment status. You will also be asked to upload your academic transcript and CV or resume, along with supplementary materials.
- You will be presented with two unique and thought-provoking challenges to measure how you think across various dimensions including written communication and reasoning. The Application Challenges should take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
- Interview (by invitation only): Select candidates will be invited for an interview. These interviews will be conducted online on a rolling schedule dependent on evaluation of submitted materials.
- Applicants must be conformable with English as this program is conducted entirely in English.
