
Overview
The course design and content are tailored to the needs of those who work in the broad fields of education (at any level) and training, those seeking employment in these areas, as well as those desiring to develop their digital learning skills to leverage new technologies to address changing educational needs. Students study online, either full time or part-time.
The Learning Design course at University of Technology Sydney equips students with the skills, knowledge and experience to become a learning designer or to progress in their existing role. Students consider underpinning theories of learning design and learning sciences and examine the characteristics of appropriate learning design, including critical issues such as accessibility, privacy and ethics.
Students assess the role of data analytics and the importance of assessment and feedback within learning environments and equip themselves for continued change by examining predicted trends in the field and developing skills to assess and implement new tools and platforms.
