Designed for executives with at least 10 years of work experience, this unique Executive Master of Business Administration at the National University of Singapore offers a robust curriculum and an immersive learning experience to give you a truly in-depth understanding of doing business in Asia-Pacific by bringing you to 6 different countries in the region – Singapore, Indonesia, India, Japan, China & Australia. 

In each of these countries, you will visit local and international organisations, and be involved in dialogue sessions with industry leaders, for a holistic experience on understanding the nuances of doing business in these markets.

Each experience in The NUS Executive MBA is designed to add to a cutting-edge perspective to doing business in the Asia-Pacific. It’s not merely about knowing the region; we position you to carve a new frontier in this region.

An experimental education

It is fundamental that our participants are properly immersed and enriched in the business culture and learnings distinctive to the Asia-Pacific region . Being the business authority of Asia gives us unique access and abilities to create a complete experience that prepares you for the Asian century and gives you essential familiarity with emerging or powerhouse economies in this part of the world.

Programme Structure

  • Classes will be held for 10 hours a day during each of the six two-week residential segments. To create an environment conducive to intensive learning, most of the classes during the residential segments will be held in NUS Business School’s Executive Rooms. Accommodation within NUS campus is available for our overseas participants. However, it is on a first-come first-served basis and would require early reservations.
  • Overseas residential segments will be held in our partner University campuses or at a hotel with conference facilities. Candidates are required to be present during all sessions, starting from breakfast and ending with post-dinner sessions, which may involve dialogue with local guest speakers.

General requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution
  • Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend an interview (in person or via telephone for overseas candidates)
  • TOEFL | IELTS is required if the medium of instruction during undergraduate studies was not in English
  • A good GMAT score may be required on a case-by-case basis
  • Admission to the NUS EMBA will be subjected to an overall evaluation of the participant’s profile, including a medical examination

Work experience

  • Minimum 10 years of full-time work experience after first degree
  • Holds senior position or has the potential to assume senior managerial position in the near future
