Overview
Participate in seminars presenting partner companies, their research units, activities and internships offers - every Friday from the end of October to mid-March with Probability and Finance at Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
The importance of financial markets and their impact on the global economy has been growing for more than forty years. This phenomenon is closely linked to deregulation that began in the early 1970s, in particular through the emergence of floating exchange rates. This expansion could not have taken place without the parallel development of a financial risk industry. Many insurance policies come to the rescue of industrialists, governments, investors to protect their activity or investments against contrary market movements.
The first year is dedicated to the fundamentals in Applied Mathematics and statistics.
Students interested early on by research are advised to apply for a PhD Track in this field (combined Master and PhD). It enables a personalized master program, early immersion in research labs and a progressive development of the thesis studies.
