Legislative Studies at University of Luxembourg   consists of lectures and seminars delivered by both academics and practitioners, specialised in public administration, law, ethics, geography, philosophy, polytechnics, political science and sociology.

This multidisciplinary approach arms student to better engage with the complex issues governing legislative procedures, along with anthropological, cultural, environmental, geopolitical and technological challenges faced by political systems.

  • Professional lobbying organisations registered with public bodies and parliaments.
  • Audit and consultancy firms.

General requirements

  • Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s level degree (180 ECTS) in public administration, law, contemporary political history, international relations, philosophy, political science, economics or social sciences.
  • Candidates must possess requisite levels of French language (C1) and English language (B2) respectively. Proof of language proficiency is compulsory in the language of instruction if the student's mother tongue is neither French nor English and/or if the student has not completed 5 consecutive years of schooling in French and/or English before entering an institution of higher education.
  • Selection will be based on submitted dossiers, limited to a maximum of 36 seats per year.
