Overview

The Project Management Online from The University of Law Business School is aimed at graduates who have an interest in developing specialist knowledge and a critical understanding of the key aspects of project management, and in particular, who are looking to pursue, advance or switch to a career in project management. 

A Master’s degree in project management is sought after by many organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. This course is suitable for graduates in business, computing and engineering who are particularly interested in organising, running or participating in projects.

The programme is designed so that you can complete your course in a 12 month period. You will develop a broad comprehension of the most important concepts in project management with a strategic perspective in a global context. The Business School prides itself on the depth and practical relevance of the knowledge delivered on its programmes by academics with practical experience to ensure that research is melded with relevant real-life application. 

You will apply theoretical concepts and project management models to real life case studies, in a practice based environment. 

The programme provides the intellectual underpinnings required for a career in a rapidly changing work environment, a rigorous approach to self-awareness and personal development and a significant exposure to the world of work and its current demands.  

The course offers the development of intellectual and professional knowledge of project management that is covered by a choice of modules including Systems Design & Management of Projects; Project Finance & Procurement and Managing People & Organisations. This range of subject areas will enable you to take-up or further your professional qualifications as well as your academic qualifications. 

We offer the Postgraduate Certificate (PG Cert) Online for those who are looking to complete a postgraduate qualification over a shorter time-frame. On a full-time basis, the PG Cert can be undertaken in two terms (3 months). Alternatively, on a part-time basis, the PG Dip can be undertaken over four terms (6 months).
