Overview
Many say people are a company’s greatest asset and this course will fine-tune and develop your ability to motivate and manage employees proactively, in just about any setting. Not only will you learn a sound understanding of general management practices but an even deeper knowledge of resourcing and motivating staff and in turn leveraging morale, inclusion and the hard work that feeds into a successful business.
Studying Human Resource Management , you will achieve Level 7 CIPD Advanced Learning Award and CIPD Chartered Member status.
You also have access to our ASPIRE centre, a purpose-built entrepreneurial lab where you can develop, plan and launch your own start-up business.
Industrial Placement
This course is available with the option to undertake an industrial placement ranging from 3 – 12 months depending upon your visa requirements (if applicable), allowing you to gain work experience in the UK or overseas. This option is also available for students wishing to undertake a self-employed placement, or ‘SELFIE’ as it is also known.
While the placements are self-sought, The School offers support to those students seeking an industrial placement, through extra-curricular engagement with our dedicated placements team.
Students considering this option should be aware that they will be required to complete all stage 1 and 2 modules and that there may be additional costs in terms of accommodation, for example.
