Executive Master of Business Administration

Overview

You'll explore and pioneer solutions to global challenges in relation to:

The Executive Master of Business Administration is a part-time, flexible, work-based programme. It's delivered using a blended learning model. You'll have monthly two day study blocks on campus during teaching time. In advance of study block attendance, you'll engage with the programme and module-specific blended learning materials and resources

This will still allow you to study flexibly around your work and personal commitments.

The group intake will be small. You'll enjoy:

The curriculum is dynamic and relevant. It combines:

The EMBA is also work-based and experiential. It's designed to enable you to learn through working on real organisational challenges. You'll reflect on your own professional practice.

The EMBA is available as a progression route when studying the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship leading to a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies.

You'll study contemporary leadership theory relevant for today’s volatile, uncertain and complex future. During the EMBA you'll:

• develop inclusive, relational leadership practices essential for responsible business
• learn skills of strategic planning and analysis across core business functions

• recognise the role of collaboration in tackling challenges and exploring possibilities

Research skills

Sustainable business sits at the heart of the curriculum. We'll provide you with a unique in-depth experience to explore and deliver material actions against the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

You'll engage in these real-world challenges. This brings a rich learning environment and the opportunity to have immediate impact on individual and organisational performance.

You'll design and undertake a research project. This will challenge individual, organisational and global business practices.

Professional skills

We offer you a transformational personal and professional learning experience. This will develop your critical thinking and reflexivity alongside mastery in practice.

We support you to develop a comprehensive professional portfolio to capture your insights, impact and experience. This resource offers you an evidence base for future employment opportunities. It will enable you to apply for Chartered Manager Status with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
