Through debates and critical evaluation of the local, national and international context of sport and health, you’ll explore the role of sport in addressing broader social change outcomes, along with the role of physical activity in public health agendas.
Guest speakers, from industry, will be used to spark debate about the challenges in the sport and health sector. You’ll be encouraged to think critically about the complex reasons for inactivity, developing knowledge and empathy for inactive communities.
A mixture of work experience and live briefs which form part of the modules you will study can help open up career opportunities in a range of sports development roles in government, charity, research and more.
