About

As part of your MA studies in Interior Design at Interactive Design Institute (IDI), you’ll devise and deliver a completely personal interiors project, exploring your own creative and commercial interests.

You’ll refine the skills, creativity and understanding necessary to work as a professional practitioner in interior design, providing evidence of your preparedness for employment to potential employers and clients.

Develop Your Individual Vision

Throughout the MA programme  in Interior Design at Interactive Design Institute (IDI), you’ll be encouraged to set out your personal ‘manifesto for change’ and define your future contribution to the creative interiors sector.

You’ll consider your own design practice in relation to local, national and global art and design practices, and develop your awareness of your position within the wider creative industries.

  • To be eligible to enter a Postgraduate Programme in Art and Design, you would normally have an honours degree (2:2 or above) in a field relevant to the award you want to study. If you do not have a degree, you will need to show you have appropriate professional experience and skills to benefit from the course.
  • We may also be able to take into account Accredited Prior Learning (APL). If your degree is in a different field, you will need appropriate knowledge, skills or experience in the field you wish to study, or be able to show that you are prepared for intensive new learning.
  • In all cases you will need to demonstrate, through a portfolio, your preparedness for study at postgraduate level.
