Overview

The Autism Spectrum Disorder (Certificate NDP)  program at University of Arizona prepares pediatric nurse practitioners, psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioners and general practice pediatricians to address the increasing health care challenge of autism. 

Nursing

  • Unrestricted RN licensure within the U.S. AND current APRN certification (PNP, FNP or PMHNP)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Advanced Practice Nursing degree (APRN)
  • Advanced practice national certification in specialty area
  • Applicants must have at least two years of current and continuous full-time work as an APRN in specialized setting ((i.e. developmental pediatric clinics, behavioral health clinics).
