Overview

Environment, Health and Wellbeing from University of Cumbria allows you to work in a flexible way, studying online at a time and place that suits you.  We will invite you to attend residentials in Ambleside, however, these are optional.  You will be able to keep in touch with staff and other students online.

Careers 

This course is designed for psychology graduates who wish to pursue a career in Environmental psychology, health and wellbeing; the skills and knowledge you learn can be applied in a range of professional settings, or you may wish to further your learning with a PhD. On this course you will gain skills in research design and planning, and disseminating research (e.g. conferences, publishing in journals), academic writing and critical thinking.

You will have flexibility in your choice of topic for dissertation and negotiated learning modules; this will allow you to select subject areas which suit your own specific career goals.

Funding

  • Automatic tuition fee discount applied for all   EU/EEA/Swiss nationals, currently resident in Europe, who will be commencing their studies in 2022/23. The scholarship will reduce the level of tuition fees that are payable from the Overseas tuition rate to the Home / UK tuition fee .  If the course is of more than one year's duration the scholarship will be applied each year for the duration of the degree programme.
