Overview

You’ll get deep insights into the molecular basis of disease, drug targets and their validation, identification of lead compounds, structure-based drug design, and analytical and synthetic techniques. You’ll also learn all about the regulatory and commercial aspects of management in the pharmaceutical industry. 

By the end of this Drug Discovery and Development course from University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)   you’ll have developed in-depth knowledge of biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics and toxicology, and an understanding of research skills and scientific methods.   • Applications from all candidates will be considered on their merits in the light of the nature and scope of the programme and if they have experience
  • Applicants should be able to demonstrate the suitability of experience both on application and at interview
  • A detailed admissions procedure will be forwarded on application
  • IELTS: Score of at least 6.5 with no component lower than 6.0 or equivalent
  • Applicants may be able to claim exemption from individual modules where they can demonstrate an appropriate level of prior qualification or experience but normally only 2 modules
