Career prospects
This Construction Management with BIM course at Coventry University aims to help prepare you for careers in managing companies and human resources, motivation and leadership, as well as strategic planning. It is designed to help you progress to senior management roles within the construction industry.
The course aims to keep you up-to-date with current events and the latest, leading-edge industry innovations through opportunities to visit 'live' projects (subject to availability, additional costs may apply) and hear from those managing them. These visits are a great way to interact with potential employers, as well as reflect on and connect past learning to real-life practice, with recent trips to, for example, Birmingham New Street train station.
Continuing professional development (CPD) is now an essential requirement for chartered status, so you will be encouraged to reflect on your personal development planning, particularly following the assessment of your project, developing an action plan to build on your own strengths and mitigate weaknesses.
