The Global Political Economy at Birkbeck, University of London is led by our Department of Politics, which has a strong research reputation in this field. Possible professions include Civil Service fast streamer, government social research officer, or Diplomatic Services operational officer. This degree may also be useful in becoming a researcher, newspaper journalist, or politician’s assistant.
