General requirements

  • An undergraduate major in STEM or life sciences, such as biology, chemistry, physics or mathematics.
  • Applicants must have completed undergraduate coursework in all of the major areas of chemistry and at least one year of botany/plant science.
  • The GRE exam is recommended for all applicants.
  • A GPA of 3.0 is required for non-conditional admission if the above conditions are met.
  • Three letters of recommendation, two of which should be from science or math professors.
