
Overview
The Medical Physics students from the University of Malta will acquire knowledge and cognitive and practical skills through the study of course material, participation in discussions, demonstrations of practical onsite medical physics and radiation protection practices and a research project.
The study unit content ranges from traditional medical physics topics such as medical radiation physics to topical subjects such as machine learning and pattern recognition and legal and professional issues.

The Course shall be open to applicants in possession of a Bachelor degree comprising 240 ECTS credits obtained with at least Second Class Honours in one of the following areas of study:
- Science with Physics as a main area of study or
- Physics, Medical Physics and Radiation Protection or
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering or
- Mechanical Engineering.
