Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary area of study that tries to understand the link between brain and mind. To learn more about it, join this programme from University of Malta.

Visit the official programme website for more information

Bringing together scientific methods, techniques and perspectives from a range of disciplines – including psychology, linguistics, computer science and philosophy – cognitive science examines how knowledge is acquired, systematically structured and computationally processed within the brain.

The Cognitive Science  course from University of Malta is full-time (day) and will run over three semesters. During the first week of the first semester a series of Cognitive Science Overview seminars will be held to introduce students to Cognitive Science and serve as a foundation for subsequent topics. The course will then follow a Semester-by-Semester plan.

The first semester will use a traditional, parallel study-units structure to provide a comprehensive introduction to theory and practical methods across a range of Cognitive Science topics.

The second semester will use a series of “block” study-units to provide more focused and detailed exposure to specific areas of research in which students are exposed to the latest trends in this highly active area.

The third semester will allow students to apply knowledge by embarking on empirical or theoretical work in the form of a Dissertation.

Career opportunites and access to further studies
