
Overview
Due to the uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 situation and the resulting restrictions we are looking for safe ways to organize and conduct teaching in the upcoming academic year. The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff is our main priority. At present we are exploring a combination of online instruction and classroom teaching. Interdisciplinary character of the programme supports employability of the graduates in all areas related to environmental protection and engineering.
The programme provides students with comprehensive knowledge of environmental protection and engineering.
Important part of the programme is devoted to water technologies and air protection technologies. The programme also involves education oriented towards industrial toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental analysis, decontamination technologies and environmentally oriented legislation.
Careers
The graduates of the Sustainability and Environmental Engineering programme at University of Chemistry and Technology Prague can find jobs as process engineers, in research and development institutions, in design companies and in production control.
They can also work as experts in administration or supervisory bodies, in rescue services and in waste handling and reprocessing plants. They can also work as secondary school teachers. The graduates are highly flexible and easily adapt to changes of external conditions.
