Overview

The Agroecology programme of the Wageningen University and Research is part of the Organic Agriculture master's and gives you the possibility to understand structure and function of complex agroecosystems. 

Programme European master's Agroecology

During the programme Agroecology, you will learn to apply systems approaches in studying, designing and evaluating agricultural systems and food production chains, and develop creative solutions for sustainable farming and marketing of organic products.

Future Career

After graduating you have different job opportunities. For example, you could work as a scientist at a research institute or as a consultant advising International Development Agencies.

  • A BSc degree (or equivalent) in a field of science relevant to your selected programme
  • A Grade Point Average (GPA) for this BSc of at least 70% of the maximum grade
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Specific admission requirement for the MSc Organic Agriculture is a  bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences, Biology, Economics or related fields. For more information contact the study advisor.
