About

The Engineering Education Research (EER) Program at the University of Michigan follows a unique model. EER faculty are embedded within the traditional engineering departments, while EER graduate students are admitted to a college-wide program and are not affiliated with a specific department.

Overview

The vision of the Engineering Education Research Program at the University of Michigan is to be internationally known and respected for innovative research and expertise that impacts scholarship, practice, and policy.

Vision and Mission

The mission of the program is to improve engineering education at all levels by conducting rigorous and innovative engineering education research, preparing graduate students for successful, cutting edge research careers, and disseminating knowledge and expertise.
