Graduates from the Department of Health Policy and Management (HPM) are poised for careers in health care management and population health management. From making the delivery of health care safer and more efficient to expanding health insurance coverage, our graduates are trained to make sense of today’s complex environment. Our unique location in South Florida allows us to incorporate diversity into our research, which ensures our graduates develop into culturally sensitive leaders.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA on the last 60 undergraduate hours.
  • A current resume
  • A written statement of purpose (career goals).
  • Three letters of recommendation. 
  • International graduate student applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit a score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
  • Submission of official GRE scores. Scores must be less than 5 years old.
