Overview
During the study of this Mental Health, Wellbeing and Resilience course at Bishop Grosseteste University you will develop an in-depth understanding of issues of mental health, wellbeing and resilience in relation to your work-related settings, with an emphasis on developing your reflective practice skills for continuing professional development within your role.
You will gain skills in drawing together academic understanding, along with developing the ability to reflect on and apply this learning in real life scenarios. You will gain a wide variety of skills ranging from research and analytical skills, to academic writing, organisational and presentation skills.
The relevance of mental health, wellbeing and resilience in the workplace is at the heart of this course, and you are required to be in a relevant practice-setting either in employment or in a voluntary capacity. The modules are designed to enable you to explore lines of enquiry relevant to your employment role and research interests within the overall focus of the module content.

General requirements
Applicants will need to have obtained or be predicted to obtain an undergraduate honours degree with a minimum of lower second-class honours as well as the support of an appropriate setting (working or volunteering) for a minimum of 100 hours through the programme.
- MSc Mental Health, Wellbeing and Resilience applicants will have a relevant workplace where they are employed or volunteering throughout the programme with support from their setting through the Workplace Tripartite Agreement. You will be required to complete 100 hours in practice per academic year.
