The Master of Education in School Leadership program in the College of Education at Temple University is designed to prepare principals for the many challenges posed by 21st century schools.


Program Overview

A combination of coursework and field experiences helps build skills in management, data analysis and instructional leadership, while introducing students to a variety of leadership roles and styles. Students of the School Leadership program at Temple University gain the tools to approach the challenges of school leadership with intelligence, reliable information, innovative ideas and a well-conceived vision for the future. Courses are taught by faculty with both academic credentials and experience as practitioners. All students must complete six credits of supervised internships to obtain their principal certificates.

The School Leadership MEd program offers classes in a hybrid format through a combination of onsite and online classes. Onsite courses are offered on Temple’s Main Campus in Philadelphia.
