About

The International Construction Law from De Montfort University will give you specialised legal education to deal with increasing legal issues.

This programme can give you an understanding of the complex legal framework is indispensable when negotiating contracts with participants in a construction project. 

Thus contractors, engineers and suppliers who were traditionally not involved in legal matters are now expected to deal with contracts drafting, negotiation and implementation.

General Requirements

  • The standard entry requirements for the programme are either a degree in law or another discipline from a UK university or a relevant professional qualification or an equivalent international qualification which indicates an ability to study at the postgraduate level. Whilst some background knowledge of law is useful, a degree in law is not essential.
  • Your degree should be a minimum of second class, with honours, and above, or the overseas equivalent.
