Cybersecurity Management

Overview

With the flexibility of online study, you’ll explore social engineering and the human factors relating to hacking behaviour. You’ll investigate the risks associated with breaches, mitigation and how to manage a crisis. You’ll also build a strong knowledge of the law, policy and ethics that govern this space.

Upon completion of the Master of Cybersecurity Management course from Swinburne University of Technology you’ll be prepared to confidently manage cybersecurity teams, processes and governance that support an organisation’s needs.

Career opportunities

Upon graduation, all students will be equipped to provide leadership on managing risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the security of networked enterprises. Graduates may find employment in roles such as security advisor, information security specialist, cybersecurity lead, or ICT manager.
