Overview

The focus of the course is on the in-depth scientific investigation of the molecular mechanisms that control the processes of plant development and adaption to biotic and abiotic environments and enable the interplay of the developmental and adaptive processes.

The curriculum covers the theoretical explanatory approaches, principles and methods in the life sciences as well as the distinctive features of the molecular life processes in plants.

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology (or comparable) with a grade of at least 2,5
  • English language proficiency: TOEFL80 or IELTS 6,0, or native speaker or English-language bachelor’s degree or English B2 (also possibly English as first language at German Abitur level)
