General requirements
- Candidates are required to hold a four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution.
- Though many students hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical or related area (e.g., information technology, information systems, computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, sciences or mathematics), it is not a requirement.
- Students with non-technical degrees may be required to take additional courses as electives.
Online MSIT candidates must submit these materials:

- Transcripts from all institutions attended (official or unofficial)
- Resume
- No GMAT or GRE score is required for admission for candidates who hold a four-year undergraduate degree.
