General requirements

  • Candidates are required to hold a four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Though many students hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical or related area (e.g., information technology, information systems, computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, sciences or mathematics), it is not a requirement.
  • Students with non-technical degrees may be required to take additional courses as electives.
